What this page covers
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. We also use similar technologies, such as local storage and session storage, which work the same way for our purposes. This page lists what we use, why, and how long it lasts.
Analytics and advertising cookies are off until you accept them in the banner. If you reject them, Google’s tags run in a restricted, cookieless mode and the Meta Pixel is never loaded. Only the strictly necessary items below are used. For the wider picture, see our Privacy Policy.
Strictly necessary
Required for the site to work. These are always on and cannot be switched off. They do not track you across other websites.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Cookie consent choice | Remembers whether you accepted or rejected non-essential cookies so the banner stops asking. Stored in your browser's local storage. | Until you clear site data |
| Form progress | Keeps your answers in the quote form if you navigate back a step or reload, so you don't retype them. Stored in session storage. | Until the browser tab closes |
| Campaign attribution | Holds UTM and click-ID values from the link you arrived on so we can attribute an inquiry to the right campaign. | Until the browser tab closes |

Advertising
Measure whether an ad produced an inquiry and support ad delivery. Set only after you accept. Google Ads and Meta Pixel.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| _gcl_au | Google Ads conversion tracking — links an inquiry back to the ad click. | About 90 days |

Durations are approximate
Third-party providers set and adjust their own cookie lifetimes, so the durations above are typical values rather than guarantees. Cookie names can also change when a provider updates its tag.
How to control cookies
- Use the cookie banner on this site to accept or reject non-essential cookies. Clearing this site's data in your browser brings the banner back so you can change your choice.
- Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies in its settings — usually under Privacy, Security, or Site settings. Blocking all cookies may break parts of this and other sites.
- Browsers also offer private or incognito windows, which discard cookies when you close them.
Provider opt-outs and controls:
- Google Analytics browser opt-out add-on
- Google Ads settings and how Google uses data from partner sites
- Meta ad preferences and Meta’s Privacy Policy
- DAA WebChoices and NAI opt-out for industry-wide advertising opt-outs
